2017 Humanitarian Mission Summary – NIGERIA

MI FOUNDATION July 2017 Medical Mission, Imo State, NIGERIA

The 2017 MIF medical mission was successfully conducted from July 26th to July 29th at Imo State, Nigeria. This year’s MIF annual medical mission provided free medical services, medication, and health counseling to over 2,700 men, women, and children.

During MIF’s annual medical mission over 60 medical and non-medical volunteers provide free medical and vision services, medications, and health counseling to over 2,700 men, women, and children.  The members of Our Lady’s Food Kitchen, MIF’s local Women’s Community Initiative cooked and served all that attended the medical mission with hearty meals each day. This year, about 23 of our volunteers came from the United States to participate in the MIF medical mission. MIF was happy to have several more local medical professionals and specialists participate in this year’s mission.
